Sadly, the money will probably buy Southampton out of trouble; as things stand they're only a point above us. Let's hope the deal and purchases by Southampton as a consequence, occurs after their game with us on January 1st.

I think the Zaha talk is just nonsense. Even before the VVD transfer, the money they were suggesting for him was never going to be acceptable to Palace. People still look at us as a club in financial trouble, I suppose, because it's been the case for so long. Zaha is worth two Premier League starters for us, and so that should be the starting point of any conversation.
