I'm not for sacking people for comments.....we need a 'live and let live' attitude....however, the laws about incitement to violence need to be seriously held to....and while I might accept his defence that it was in humour....I'm kind of thinking that a tweet saying, 'All I want for Chrstmas is black genocide' wouldn't have received such sympathetic treatment by CNN. Honestly....you can't make this up. Here's Sargon's video on CNN's piece.

The difference here is that you call for a white genocide, you rightly get sacked from your position in society, and potentially face criminal charges. Where as if you call Mexicans rapists and drug dealers, you get to be president.

Doesn't really matter if its a white guy, a black guy or the first alien visitor to Earth. Violence as a means of politics has to be resisted, as an act of self defence. And that has to work both ways.

Personally, I don't have an issue with people who promote things like genocide, or racially malicious politics being confronted with violence and threats - I think its kind of rational to respond to the threat of genocide in proportion to that threat.| Sheks Crows Eye Virginia 29 Dec 17 1.49pm |

I'm not that comfortable with him being fired.....I think it was a bad attempt at humour. But the law about incitement to violence has been with us for a very long time. Under that provision it is what it is. I don't want to see people sacked for opinion....I really don't. I'd prefer warnings first.
