Roy suggested post match that the injury to Dann may mean they have to look at CB in the window. Currently we have only Delaney as back up. I haven’t seen any news on Sakhos return. hopefully this does not impact on our plans/budget. A striker or two is a absolute must. Hennessy did ok today, out of the two positions I’d much rather sacrifice the budget for the goalie. However, I believe we can still loan players from abroad so that might take care of that. It’s certainly complicated things though.

The injuries to Dann & Punch are unfortunate but, as they are being spoken about in terms of not returning this season it potentially gives us the ability to free up two squad places.

Could help with maybe picking up a couple of overseas loanees with options to buy? Reckon that might be attractive to some who fear relegation but want to play in the EPL & gives us some safety regarding players out of contract in the summer.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

Why have two contributors mentioned going abroad to get players? I think the point about players seeking more stable arrangements within a team more likely to stay in the EPL is a good thought.
Gray at Watford? The young Shrewsbury cb? Grealish at Villa? Palace don't need to experiment with foreign while there's evidence of quality here in the UK.

Because we can take them on loan; we're not short of CBs, we just have an injury crisis.
