I feel I have just been robbed of two minutes of my life

Possibly the worst thread for some time.

F@ck all to do with Palace. F@ck all to do with anything.

At the last election, she got the message 'stay'.

It's called democracy. It's worked quite well for us for a number of years.

And if the British Museum hadn't aquired some of its many exhibits, they would probably have been destroyed by religious morons by now.

A good thought provoking read as usual Mehmet.

Mods can this be moved to the politics thread?

It's in the General Talk thread because that's where I felt it best fitted. I'm not averse to it being in the News/ Politics one instead. Thanks for the feedback Nick and Tom, I can't guarantee to please everyone.

The last election was one that wasn't necessary to be held as the government had a majority. It got the message 'you can govern but you'll need the support of the opposition to get anything through'. In any other organisation Teresa May would have been told to resign following such a bad error.

The British Musuem is grateful for whatever it gets, however it gets it. How it acquired it is the issue. For example the 'Elgin' marbles. The Greeks argue that it wasn't in the gift of the Turks to give it away.
