Agent Glenn got us out of a replay we really didn't want for a possible trip up to the north east for another game which we really didn't want.

f.....k the FA cup. Waste of time. now lets finish above the Seaweed and show them who has the best A team. B team games do not count.

Facts:

He wanted first team football and asked to leave.
No one knew Benteke would be as poor as he has been this year (although personally I feel a lot of the criticism is unjustified).
No one could have predicted Wickhams injury (who if you actually bother to look at his injury record did not have a bad one before that injury).
We all would have liked to have kept him and it would benefit us to have him now.

Let's leave it there shall we and not start another "we never should have sold Glen Murray thread"

Unlike those Weed scum who cheered when he got injured at Selhurst, We sung his name when he came on and at the end.
Am gutted it was him but when all said and done we definitely have to put survival top priority.

Better B team won still sickening tho

Agreed we don't want another Murray thread - BUT - AP sold him because he wasn't prepared to give him the First Team football that he wanted.
He bought Wickham and then told him that - forget injuries but I would have preferred Murray to Wickham anyway.
Benteke isn't even in this equation.

It was always going to be Glenn that scored the winner. Just shows how classy Palace fans are, compared to the Brighton fans who gave him all that abuse when he left them for us.

Also thought the VAR wasn't very conclusive over the goal. Personally, if I'd been reffing, I would have disallowed the goal for handball, sent GM off for ungentlemanly behaviour and given a penalty to Palace in injury time ,...but Palace would still fvck it up.

So, we concentrate on maintaining our Prem status and Brighton get a lovely trip to the North, that they really could have done without.

Parish has openly admitted that it was his decision to sell Murray; and his mistake that it was in retrospect.

Even the pundits seemed to think the goal was only reviewed for offside in the first instance and that they had not looked at the angle that shows the handball.
Does not matter too much in this case as without VAR the goal would have been given anyway , and it has not hurt us too much , but it has proved to be inconclusive or not used properly on first use. I think politics are dictating it must be hailed as a great success.
