Roy is clearly getting the best out of Sako and what a goal with his wrong foot.

Tekkers on the bench might wake him up some what.

I'd start him against Burnley, his on fire at the mo.

Sounds like townsend injured, so I'd start Sako on the wing.

I'd try and find a way to play Tekkers & Sako together.

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

I would. What have we got to lose? Given Benteke’s complete lack of effort maybe we should give Sako a chance, it might shake Benteke up a bit.

I would without a doubt.

For those saying they wouldn't.. Why?

What has Benteke shown us that Sako hasn't in his last few appearances??

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

I thought Townsend was poor in the first half, actually thought he had been taken off due to that and to actually keep him fresh for upcoming fixtures, he looked like recent run of games had taken it's toll on him.

Does Sako's performance raise the question of should we sign another striker in January? Personally I think we should but what we save in paying inflated striker prices in Jan could be invested in other positions.

Was impressed with him tonight. His hold up play was very good, much better than Benteke's has been. Not so strong in the air but better with the ball at his feet. He has planted a big bang on Roys door imo. As someone else has mentioned would be interesting to see him and Benteke as a pair.

Sako looked to me more like a Wilf stand-in than a centre-forward. He gave their defenders quite a bit to think about. He will fight and scrap in the box but isn't a natural header of the ball as Tekers is (supposed to be). It turns out that he can shoot, and from distance. He seemed to go quite wide and let Kaikai go into the middle, which isn't his game either. So really we had no centre-forward, something we've only done well when the wingers have been Townsend and Zaha.

If Townsend isn't available then Sako - Tekers - Wilf is the way to go.

Hold up play was really poor. His final ball didn't find a Palace player once.

For me he is the perfect impact substitute as he can score fantastic goals.

I would definitely play him, with or without Benteke.

You can't fault his effort, and I apologise for slating him in the past.

As for Benteke, you won't find a lazier player in the league, he should be embarrassed about being bought for £30m and scoring 1 goal.
