Watching them, they’re dire.

Shaquiri could be the least interested player when the ball isn’t on his feet. His defending is awful, just stands 3 yards away.

Hope they get relegated. I think the only player I would take is joe Allen, perhaps as the replacement for Cabaye in a year or 2.

They used to be such a gritty, hard to beat team?

Btw, put in palace thread as was interested who you thought could be in our team (not sure in transfer thread, as nothing rumoured).

And they've now got Paul Lambert to inspire them...

As you wrote that shaquiri made a bad pass which pogba intercepted and zouma (who has looked bad all game) just cut off his own defender to let Lukaku rifle it past butland.

Maybe butland, but not zouma.

How does Martins Indi look? We were in for him for a while weren't we? Stoke have shipped the most goals this season I think so his stock has fallen somewhat.

Edit:

From BBC

'Stoke City are the first team in Europe’s big five divisions to concede 50 league goals this season. '

When you are in trouble mid-season, your survival really depends on who you appoint as your new manager.

That being said, I feel Stoke and Swansea are in big trouble now. Neither of their new managers look good enough to me.

Not sure about Pardew at West Brom, could go either way. Whilst Moyes at West Ham, has really surprised most people.

Southampton are the other team who could be in trouble. Not sure I see Pellegrino lasting, but not sure who they would get in.

If there’s one thing this season should have taught you is that good players can look bad under the wrong management, and vice versa. Zouma is class, just like Butland and Shaquiri for that matter.

But overall I would agree Stoke are pretty s***e at the minute.

Plus the players on the pitch, and as Sam used to say respecting the point.
Any 3 from 10 could still go down all very tight.

Palace 13th 2017/18.

Martins Indi was f***ing s***e. Didn't seem to know the difference between a tackle and a body check and lucky not to get enough yellows for an early bath. Shaqiri looked petulant and bored, thinks he's Wilf but not fit to lick his boots with that attitude. Most of them were a disorganised rabble of nobodies who looked as though they were playing together for the first time and United ran rings round them without breaking sweat. The only one who was remotely decent was Butland.

Lambert is a de Boer clone who knows one way of playing football and it isn't one that suits them or is the right choice for a team trying to achieve escape velocity in the vicinity of a black hole.

But then look what they said about Hodgson...

Naah, these are f***ed.

They were horrendous tonight. I can't see Paul Lambert turning that around either.

Stoke same odds to go down as Huddersfield and weed, 15/8. Swansea 4/1 on.

We're now right out there at 13/1!
