This kid is 16 years old. If you watch the video you'll see the following; unreal pace, zaha like dribbling ability and a fearlessness that very few players have. End product is a little raw. Bet we could get him for 2-4 million.

Anyone have thoughts? This would be a kid we could build up.

Looks pretty good. Trouble is we have had lots of opportunities to buy youngsters the last couple of years, (Lookman probably being the most recent) that we considered and didn't go ahead with. I'm all for youth being brought in but it doesn't appear that our previous managements have felt the same way. Let's face it, it was SP who insisted we bought back Zaha, not the manager.

I think we should always be on the look out for speed merchants and tricksters because we make great use of them, whereas other clubs prefer passers of the ball.

Yes, but, in regards of youth, there are many players in the MLS below the age of 20 who are finishing their contracts now in December: Jefferson Savarino, Alberth Elis...really great players for the future who could come with 0 transfer cost and be sold for tens of million in a couple of years.

Chelsea and other great teams have dozens of theze kind of players bought and loaned so they gain experience and either come into the first team or be sold for profit.
Latif Blessings is another MLS youngster finishing his contract in 2019

Matteo you are spot on with you MLS prospect analysis. When Palace brought back Dougie I was hoping we would institute a transfer policy trying to find young gems abroad in the US, South America and perhaps Africa as well. I would love to see us invest in young talent, help the talent grow and then potentially sell later on for a profit. It just seems like awful business to me to continue to sign 28-30 year olds from the Prem that will not appreciate in value and will soon need replacement.

I’m guessing people wish Palace had read this suggestion and moved on him before Bayern did.
