Now EFC have signed Walcott maybe a sneaky little 10m plus 5 m if we stay up.
I'm sure he would love to come back and IMO would settle back in nicely.

Love Yannick and have found myself watching Everton of late and cheering him on, but he's moved on and so should we!

This isn't a Zaha situation - if he gets his pre-injury form back then Everton is the minimum level for him and if he's knackered then he won't cut it at SE25.

Mods - sorry didn't mean to report this!

surely their idea is for Walcott on one wing and Yannick on the other?

Loved him when he was at his best for Palace, but he was so bad at defensive work it was hard to watch. It's likely why eventually Pardew played him as a striker, as opposed to a winger.

Saw the Everton game against Tottenham this weekend and his defensive work hasn't improved one bit. He walks around when not very close to the ball and allows play around him.

Rather have our current 3 wingers (Zaha, Sako, Townsend).

Football is all about opinions but you would really prefer Townsend or Sako to Bolasie - really?
I would have him back in an instant injury or no injury!

In my view, YB thought he'd "outgrown" Palace and was keen to move on to new pastures.

Good luck to him at Everton - he was a "good servant" to the club all the time he was here.

I wouldn't be in any rush to try and bring him back.

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

Yeah I would. Bolasie was a show pony that showed up every 3 or 4 games. All the tricks and skills are great for soccer am but when the cross goes into the stand or hits the 1st defender it's not all that great. He's moved on, we got great money for an ok player.

Bolasie was a beast for us and had a great smile that often cheered me up. I was disappointed that he left, but I didn't begrudge him the move. Everton fans seem to have already decided he's not good enough for them, which is a shame, as on his day he's unplayable. I would not say no to signing a fully-fit Bolasie on top of his game, but I couldn't see Everton parting with him for less than £20 million, and I think we need to spend in other areas.

Loved Yannick as well, he was instrumental in our Premier "hystory".
Though I think he's the kind of player that is unstoppable due to his speed, but the speed is decreasing with age. I think we got the best of him in his best years.
Also, he was having too many off matches, like Zaha used to have till 1-2 seasons ago (and now he has finally matured into a top player), not sure Yannick has got tot that level.
I still cannot change my mind that we lost the FA Cup because he had an off day. Zaha was causing havoc in his wing, but Yannick wasn't on his wing, and ManU ended up with 2 men on Wilf. If we had Yannick on his day too on the other wing we'd have stretched them much much more and we might have won that. Not disrespect to him but that's what I think...

TBF Yannick had spent the second half of that season injured so I suspect he wasn't fully match fit for the Cup.

He was exciting and hugely entertaining and great for the Palace brand.

Sadly, from a moneyballs perspective, not enough goals and assists; and didn't put in the shift in defence. That said, for the right price...
