This morning has seen all the presenters, talking heads and guests being Women....so are things really as unequal as people would have us believe?

I bet the guys cant believe tbeir luck!

Wonder if I can take the day off myself and have the women in the office do my job for today.

It’s 100 years since women won the right to vote. I think you can cope with one day.

Only a small number. If they owned property wasn't it? So barely any.

Correct. Also before that day only men with property could vote so the idea that men kept women down is not 100% correct this was just as much a class struggle as it was a gender fight.

The day we should really celebrate is 1928 when ALL men and women over the age of 21 got the vote.

One more point

Errr I think that was the point the BBC was making, by having all women this morning.

Of course things are unequal after all you would never get women holding the top jobs in this country like monarch or prime minister would you?

You are right. Slightly misinterpreted your post and replied in haste. Sorry.

(That’ll teach me to post via the phone while sitting on the bog!)

Are you a woman?

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.
