I have many purchasing regrets. Around 1979 (aged 11) in a boots in Ramsgate. (yes, a chemist used to have a vinyl section), I was torn between buying 4 singles or the "Bat out of Hell" album. I went with the singles. 1991 at a record fair in Coventry. A signed vinyl album , The Real Thing, by Faith No More. All members of the band had signed, and I think the seller was asking about £5. I swerved and regret Chichester , around 1997. A shop was selling a Clarice Cliff china tea set for about £80. Was tempted, but swerved and regretted

I could have bought a 2 bedroom flat, a new build, around 87/88 just over Vauxhall Bridge for £42k. Decided against it Last time I looked they were going for a million +

We flogged that for a small profit and moved away from London because property was half the price, but I dread to think how much the maisonette in Bickley is worth now!!!
