Great performance tonight, him and Luka ran their socks off. Gutted for them.

We lacked options from the bench, players were exhausted for the final 15.

Gave it everything though. Painful defeat but we'll recover.

PVA has probably his best performance for us as well. Great in defence and attack. And the young lad looks really good. Composed , Tenacious and he can play a bit.

Wan-Bissaka was MotM in my book. A whole lot of fine challenges and interceptions down that side and unlike last week got forward on the overlap and stuck in some decent crosses.

Now put Wilf in front of him and see what happens.

Jimmy Mac gave Pogba a lesson in how to play tonight - in my opinion.
Macca was fearless and completely committed in his performance to our cause to remain in the Premier League.

Agree with all the comments. I thought Andros was very good.

Luka did really well to the 89th minute. Then in the 90th minute, I felt he really bottled the Matic shot. In the position we are in, you need players to put their bodies FULLY on the line. He was right next to Matic, and moved out the way of the shot, why? If that was me, I would of thrown my body at that, and considering he was the captain, I expected the same. I felt he really let us down on that aspect to be honest.

Pogba is head and shoulders above him. Jimmy gives everything each game and never lets the team down, but he just hasn't got the power of Pogba. There is a reason he cost £80m and Jimmy £8m.

So - by your reasoning in valuing a player by his transfer fee - Pogba is 10 times the player that Jimmy Mac is ?
Pogba might have "power" but he sure hasn't got an ounce of Jimmy Mac's commitment on the pitch.

I didn't say he was 10 times better, but there is no doubt Pogba is a far better player. Commitment only gets you so far, skill is what makes the better player.

Then please point out this skill that Pogba produced in the game tonight - unless I missed something ?
Macca turned him inside out early in the game and showed better skill throughout.

Not on tonight's showing he wasn't. Macca sh@t all over him.
