I don't think it a good idea to politicise a national day for an individual. Would he suggest that July 4th be re-named after (insert name of any prominent American), of course not because it will offend a section of the population whoever you pick. As for Mr Adams I believe in forgive and forget but he really takes me to the limit on that.
