The first thing I said as we walked out for the second half was "let's get at them and not sit back like we did against United". Lo and behold, we sat back again and got punished. Ironically, after Liverpool scored we seemed to spring back into life and played some good football.

I know we have had a tough few matches, but I expected to get at least a point from one of the so called "big 6".

We also have a huge problem defending set pieces, 'Pool had far too many free headers in the box. Hennessey's hesitance to come and receive crosses in his six yard box is also a concern.

I think Roy's team selection today was spot on, and I've been calling for Milo to play in front of the back four for a long time, with Cabaye and McArthur in front. The problem seems to be when we go in at half time with something to hold, whether it be a 0-0 vs. Spurs, or 1 up against United, something is not clicking and I feel it has cost us at least 2 points, possibly more.

Anyhow, rant over.

It's funny because when we sat back at 1-0 up in the first half I was super relaxed about it. If we just played 90 without changing ends we might've won.
