I have been going to Palace since 1986 and apart from Villa Park 1990, I cannot remember a better atmosphere. I was in the Arthur and the singing was constant! Was brilliant to see how much it meant to the players at the final whistle.

Team effort first half was excellent ... effort and goals is guaranteed to get the crowd behind them.

Agreed. I can't honestly remember a better, more vociferous atmosphere than today. When someone says "...they were even singing in the Main Stand" you know it's special!

Thought it reflected the performance, first 30 odd minutes was deafening. Bit quieter second half til the end. But it was the whole ground singing most of the time. Great day.

How good is it when the whole ground gives a loud rendition of “Eagles, Eagles..”

I'm beginning to come round to the idea of wanting them to stay up to maintain a proper rivalry. Having been miserable at the prospect of finishing below them, we now have a realistic prospect of the correct order of things being re-established, we've taken four points off them this season, so hopefully six next season, the rivalry is apparently settling down a bit to be more 'sensible' with less silliness and violence, also Glenn Murray still obviously bleeds red and blue after not celebrating his goal and missing two gilt-edged chances (or was it guilt-edged?).

Obviously we need to ensure survival but I'm confident now, so what's not to like?

Great day, not ruined by (the expected) late opposition goal. Cruel of Palace to gift them two goals giving them a bit of hope, we all know that it's the hope that kills you!

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
