I think, unless we wanted to sell him, Wilf would stay put. It would be different if he was looking at getting picked for England al the time, but as he is in the Ivory Coast, I genuinely believe he would rather be with the club he loves and still be paid hefty. I'm glad that Wilf came to the same conclusion even if it was maybe influenced by him being omitted from England squads . International football is in the main based on not losing ,England are as boring to watch as any and I wouldn't like Wilf to be associated with such a set up .
I think if you are a citizen you should be able to also be called up to national squad if not featured at any level for another national squad. The current system is silly being able to hae and parents from some countries so you can play for them or you play for u21 for one but select another that is all wrong
