Pardew, surely

I can't believe I forgot him. Only if Barca don't call for him first.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Should have left two or three seasons ago when we would have walked into another top job, should he have wanted one.

The problems at Arse are not all down to him. Fleece fans for £1000 season tickets and they are bound to expect at least to be competing.

Perhaps Conti would consider a move across London?

I think they can do better, Simeone, Joachim Low or Ancelotti

22 years, 10 major domestic trophies and 1 entire stadium. Not a bad record.

I'd like to see him win the Europa league and for Arsenal fans to have a season similar to, or worse, than Man U did after Ferguson.

He may retire but potential jobs could be:

PSG
Manager of France
Manager of England, after are usual world cup performance.

Or

Steve and the Americans splash the cash and tell Arsene to build us a club top to bottom.

OK wet dream over.

Seems like the Arse ticket site went into meltdown ... everyone trying to see his last game .... the arse fans have got what they wanted but it could come back to bite them ....... I thought he was a gent and was manager of very good Arse teams in the past... good luck to him.
Now I want to see the arse in pain ... pardon the pun

COYP 3 points against Watford ... lovely jubbly

Serves them right, and their last two games are both away.

Most overrated manager ever. 3 leagues in 22 years I believe?

think if they play this right they could be a force again. They've been working on the behind the scenes team for when Wenger goes for a while so I doubt the transition period will be too bad and they do have a decent squad that badly needs a good coach

I do wonder if Wenger asked to leave in the last couple of seasons but was convinced to stay as they knew this would be a huge time for them when he doe leave.

Now the time has come for them. New manager with new ideas especially when a manager has been at a club a number of years, some players may want to leave and all the gossip that goes with a club changing managers.

I advise Wenger not to go back into football immediately (unless a club from SE25 requires one) as I'm sure it want be long when a club from SE25 will require one.

Absolutely - I could not agree more.

Maybe now all those empty seats will be filled up !

At least most of those empty seats were already paid for and Arsenal had the income from them.

I bet Pardew is sorting his CV out as we speak, I'm sure that in his own mind he thinks he's in with a chance.

No chance, couldn't afford to widen all the doors in the Emirates.

As regards Wenger. Nobody had really heard of him when he was appointed but had a great long stint there. Be interesting to see if they go for a name or pull somebody out of the hat. Gonna be tough to fill his boots whoever is appointed.
