Four players made the cut this week

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Nice of him to clarify that he was being a prick about Zaha last week.

Optimistic as ever

He didn't acknowledge it at all but simply wrote that it was nice to see Wilf make an attempt to stay on his feet. It's almnost as if he's pleased that Wilf had taken his advice because that will also help to win the respect of your fellow professionals.

The man is a tosser. End of.

Wilf and RLC make this week’s team, and then Crooks explains why Wilf should move to Spurs for £70m, or if not to Arsenal.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Whilst he is probably right about winning trophies think he would definitely not be a shoe in every week at the likes of Spurs. Look at Moura.

So how many trophies in the last 25 years have Spurs won exactly?

Oh, that would be the league cup. Ooooooooh!

They could well lose Kane this summer if he wanted to go to a club that wins major trophies and the same could be said for Dele Alli. Vertonghen apparently has already packed his bags. Garth Crooks is a clueless nobber who somehow gets a wage off the beeb despite sounding like he's having a poo everytime he speaks.

Although Crookes does sound rude and condescending if you analyse exactly much of what he says, it does make sense. But he has got it wrong about Wilf. The Manure sojourn for Wilf taught him lots. Here in the mother of all cities he will always get a game. Ironically, opting for Cote D'Ivore means Wilf doesn't have to catch the England eye every time he turns out to get an international game. He is settled in the area with family and can earn ammounts equal to almost anywhere. And he is loved by fans and friends. Why would he want to leave? Only lower league football would turn his head.

He said when he asked Wilf if he fancied say Spurs Wilf was shocked and said he was happy here, contracted here and had no reason to leave. Crookes then immediately concludes "£70m should do it". Bellend.
