Certainly sounds like Roy is happy to stay another season. I haven't accepted all the conspiracy theories surrounding Steve Parish and our turnover of managers but I must say if Roy is not our manager next year then Parish will be responsible for it. This is the most important Summer recruitment phase we've had for a couple of years. I just hope the directors have a good story to tell Roy at the end of the season.

Totally agree with all of this.

Roy is the most important signing this summer.

I watched his press conference and he seems very happy at his home town club.

In Roy we trust and what a fantastic bloke Roy is.

Proper gent.

Wouldn't be surprised if Cabaye departed.

I am disappointed RH said that, it is not necessary at this stage, the job is not quite done and we don't want the players to be distracted.

May be a slip nobody is perfect.

The loanees well it is the parent club that decides I guess.

Definitely the best news for Roy wanting to stay on hopefully longer than just next season.

And hope parish comes on board with him and does thing's Roys way aswell.

Brilliant news.

In terms of losing good players it will be cabaye, Macca, RLC, ward and possibly Wilf, possibly Hennessy and possibly Benteke if a good offer comes in.

Will need a skillful operator in the transfer market to deal with that.

Yes, could someone please enlighten me as to what Dougie Freedman actually does on a day to day basis?

Macca has confirmed he has two years left on his contract & isn't going anywhere

Absolutely delighted that Roy intends to stay, couldnt be better news for the stability of the club, seeing that we have some very bad experiences over the past 3 years! and..... Its wonderful that Wilf seems to want to stay and not get greedy as he has a great future ahead and doesnt need to jump ship yet. Guess there will be offers but he would end up as a sub for the next season and wouldnt deserve that treatment. I'm sure all Palace fans will be over the moon to have Wilf around again.
Good luck Guys! tomorrow against the Potters.
