I bet he's on a massive wage and will go somewhere who's going to offer him very good money. Was one of the best mids in the Prem at one point. 34 now tho so one last big pay day for him.

There is no substitute for class. He could wander around the centre circle and do a job for us. I would have him if Cabaye goes and look for a younger midfielder to be groomed for the position.

Hahahahahaha Good one. Guys on close to 200k and is one of the most mercenary players to have ever graced the PL. Not digging the bloke, fair play to him but all he cares about is money. He could go to China or the MLS for huge money and barely have to work hard to be a success. There is no way I’d want him even if we had that sort of cash.

We are the next step on the premier league ladder cos he’s no longer likely got it for top six on reg basis, but yeah as above have said, we’d not be able to offer more than 100k per week and he’ll get double that abroad
