Ok, let's do the maths: £21.4m - 10th place £9.8m difference (ignore costs, tax etc etc) Not quite £10m but nor £8m either. Best position in our recent premiership tenure too. COYP

Although I’d probably give money to see the comeuppance of any young upstart, where Brighton are bothers me not one bit. You’re most definitely not alone with these sentiments I guess. Glad we came out so well in the end. Closer to Europe than relegation. Let’s not give everyone such a head start next season huh?!

Ok great result and party, shame Newcastle did not slip up. I am sure £19.4m rather than £11.6m will be well received by the board. Bring on the 2018-2019 season

Well Chelsea were once again an absolute disgrace and didn't bother their arses. How their fans can be proud of them I don't know. Still we did the business and made sure no-one else caught us up - who wouldn't have taken eleventh with forty-four points if offered it in October? Fantastic achievement over the rest of the season.
