How this dim sh1t gets away with manslaughter I do not know.

She will get to resume her life after a few years....especially with good behaviour. No justice has been done here.

I'm assuming this is the acid bitch?

Hopefully she'll still get at least 20 years as that Arthur Collins bloke got. And that should effectively be a death sentence for her.

I think there is definitely a case for sentencing based on outcome rather than intention in certain situations. This could well be one of them.

The articles are almost too repulsive to read. I'd have been opting out of jury duty for that one if they came calling.

Back in the day.

It can't be said that she deserves a worthwhile life after she destroyed his and apparently it destroyed his family like it often does.

12 years. Should've been double that.

Considering her age, the sentence seems lenient.
She should have received the maximum for this kind of crime.

Evil woman however I would have agreed with the jury. It is clear she planned and intended to cause him great harm however his death was ultimately his choice.

Murder was not a foreseeable consequence of her actions. That said I would have found her guilty of manslaughter. Not sure was she not charged with that as her actions did lead to his death.

Either way 12 years for what she did was way too light but I am not sure what the judge could have given her.
