Out of the 3 I’d say Danny Ings has the most quality. Question is more whether or not he truly ever recovered. Was a big fan of Rodriguez before his injury too in fairness. Antonio doesn’t convince me as the answer to our strike problems. His versatility undoubtedly fits into the Roy model of play but a Roy type player in attacking areas also has intensity and agility. One of the main reasons Benteke has had such a miserable time of it this season.

You would think Liverpool might be ready to let Ings go as they did not even put him on bench for CL. He has 2 years left on contract. Of course, depends who they bring in and what happens to Sturridge who only has 1 year left. Markovic and Origi were also out on loan this past season

Not sure why everyone’s a huge fan of Ings... would take Antonio over him every day. Although granted I don’t think that solves our striker problem as I see him more being utilised on the wings..
