This is the player I think we should target. Had some injuries last season which held him back. They value him at £17M, goal scoring, strong midfielder. Thoughts?

I seem to have in mind he is an out and out winger and before spending on wingers I would get someone that plays central. A poor man's David Silva type, or even better a poor man's David Silva that chips in with goals as well. Originally posted by Ecopalace

Regards goal scoring, in his first season at Tottenham he did score 14 goals but his scoring after that season has diminished.In the next season to that one he scored 7 from 41 apps, then 6 from 35 apps and last season 1 from 9 apps. He wasn't injured for the whole season, according to a lot of WBA fans there are plenty of rumours that he effectively downed tools and didn't want to play for the club anymore. I doubt that if he had been injured all season he would've been called up for the Belgium WC Squad. Seems like he's got an attitude problem. In terms of ability vs price however, I think he'd be a decent signing for in the region of £15m.

Made the Belgium World Cup squad with only 200 minutes played this season in the Premier League. Has to be the player with the least minutes played going to the World Cup. Guess they really needed wingers in this 3-4-3 formation that Roberto Martinez has been playing lately. He could have really helped West Brom stay up had he played more. I know most people are gutted about Nainggolan missing out, but I'm suprised that Origi didn't make the squad for Belgium. He looks like a fine player at his age to me.

Certainly has the credentials to play both as a striker and out wide.When playing on the flanks he does have that ability to beat opponents in one-on-one situations and he also has a good range of shooting with both feet.Got plenty of pace and this enables him to run in behind defences.Has the ability to jump high and has good body strength. Speaking to someone a while back about Origi he did say that his weakness was his inconsistency but this was probably about 3 years ago when Origi might have been a teenager. Only scored 7 goals in 37 apps last season for Wolfsburg - don't know how many of the apps were from the subs bench. Edited by Willo (05 Jun 2018 3.27pm)
