Bet they will still take world bank loans, watch Hollywood movies and use Google and Facebook though.

And so they should by the way....just to put that in.

Well, maybe not Hollywood....that's really a pile of s***e nowadays.

Yep in the same way you put petrol in your car or buy goods made from plastic that inevitable are made from refined crude that comes from Saudi Arabia, Libya, and various other ME countries but that's ok of course. I wouldn't drive on any roads or walk on any pavements that are made from asphalt or have any bitumen on your roof, same source of course. Oh, and don't use air travel - kerosene

Yep, all true of course....but then again I'm not criticizing Israel in Gaza.....Well, I have criticism for Israel but it's kind of futile.....I'm never going to support Hamas or Iran....or Syria for that matter...So its enemies are worse....So it's futile.

Much like this grandstanding from Argentina.

If they are really going to take a stand.....take a stand....don't grandstand using sport.

Yeah the violence the people of Gaza started. The Argies really are dumb. Anyhow, don't mix sport and politics.

If only we could make-up with Argentina?

Maybe run the Falklands together?

It has turned out to be just as the detractors said, just running a garrison forever, fishing and oil etc. never materialised.

Do the soldiers who fought there not want an end, forgiveness, as far as I know Argentina has little or no military hardware or interest.

Particularly at this time we should be reaching out, that's what they say, so South America is a big market.

Time to make-up anyway, what is the point.

How typical of you Steely not to support self determination.....similar to how you felt towards the Catalans.

The Falklands isn't negotiable.

Usual non-reading of posts before you answer them Stirling?

The Catalans ?????

No idea what you are talking about, why can't they govern themselves but it is not my business so won't be replying to your deflections from Argentina.

Gawd blimey.....have you got a memory like a sieve?

The Catalans live in the north of Spain and recently had a vote for independence from Spain and won that backing from the people there.....something that the Spanish government nor the EU backed and either did you on here. In fact they violently repressed the vote....also something you didn't appear to have an issue with.

Apparently proving that you don't support self determination.....Just like you don't with the Falkland islanders who similarly voted in high numbers to stay British.

Well done Argentina.

Good to see one country that is not a pathetic stooge of the United States.
