Well that video fair cracked me up

I hope he gets a proper welcome when we play Toulouse. As I recall he made some dumb comments as a kid. The rest of us never put a foot wrong at that age...

After all these years and various clubs he still thinks of Selhurst Park as home

Gotta feel for the bloke. Who here didn’t make a mistake or 2 aged 15. Really hope he has a hell of a season with Toulouse, I’d happily see him back here if he was good enough one day.

Great watch though.

Bostock comes across as a decent bloke who simply made a mistake in his life that he regrets,
I hope he has a long and successful career wherever that may be.

A home he couldn’t wait to get away from. But wants to rebuild bridges on the off chance.

A good watch. Feel for him slightly as he was clearly quite emotional when he went back to his old seats as we all would be if the same had happened to us.
I can't believe that he had no say in the matter in moving to Spurs - seem to remember him saying that he was 'stagnating' at Palace. But as a proper through and through Palace fan, you'd do your all to stay and play for the shirt at least for a season despite what your elders said, even at 15.

Watched a few highlights of him and he does look like a tidy player, can spray the ball left and right and has the ability to drive forward with the ball a bit like Loftus-Cheek. Hopefully his season at Toulouse he is a success and he can get a big move elsewhere like many others have done from Ligue 1.

thats what the papers said,Yer a 16 year old knows whats best for him, take it you didnt listen to your parents at that age,
he was given bad advise by his elders, but the knockers think he should have know better,
bet you if he told you how todo things in this world, you would say how would you know your only a kid,
so im look forward to seeing him, because i kept a eye on his progress, because to much pressure was on him at such a young age and that slowed his progress in the end and spurs didnt help him

You've clearly never had 15/16 year olds of your own. You can give them all the advice you like, but in the end they make up their own minds and do what they want. Whatever you say, they'll decide if they want to do A levels, and which ones, or whether they want to leave school for a college or apprenticesip, and if so, which subject or trade.

At that age they're not a "kid", they're young adults, with minds of their own. He must have liked the Spurs carrot that was being dangled, and no doubt his dad did too, or he wouldn't have left. It's a bit late, after nearly a decade, for him to start getting all misty-eyed about what might have been.

im a grandad and my kids listened to me, i gave them the best advise i could, all this cr*p they dont listen they do,so dont make a 16 year old out tobe the cleverest person in the world because they are not there still learning how the world ticks

I wouldn't be surprised to see him do a Vardy and still make something of himself, I've only seen him a few times since he's left Palace but he's always stood out as one of the better players on the pitch.

Wouldn't be against him coming back to Palace, he could be a decent impact player, he is a bit of a poor man's RLC as A89M said, and I think we'd be a good fit. But I can't ever see that happening.

Anyone claiming they’re stagnating before they’re old enough drive a car is truly stupid.
