Newcastle are going for the signing. This is just a very low figure for one of the best strikers in Germany. It's only because his contract was running out. 26 years old. Not extremeley tall, but very fast and hard working. Will do great in the Premier League. I know 10 million is a lot of money and not an easy investment, but not for this guy. Palace needs to do this kind of business ahead of Premier League rivals. Not many option of Yoshinori Muto's quality left out there at this price if he goes to Newcastle.

Mattteo you ever thought of applying to SP for the role of Chief Scout and I don't mean in the Baden Powell mould, as you seem to have a seemingly far better knowledge of players than DF and his 'network'. I am just about to start a post on this very subject.

With all these terrific suggestions you're making, why don't the club ever listen to you? Surely they must know what you know.
