If you want to make cheap anti-Christian jibes go and do it in General Talk. Jokes about a player's name, provenance etc. are on topic here. Belittling someone's faith is not.

Well said.

Where were you at QPR

Agreed! Let's keep the chat to the potential transfer of Dabbur, Munas the anti-Christian rhetoric!

Gotta take it with a pinch of salt considering it’s youtube + a very inferior league. But the guy looks really classy. Appears to be very agile, good on the ball and a break away from the target-men we usually favour.

Certainly didn’t get the same impression from Sorloth highlight videos.

We're the Arthur over ere!

Dabbur is an interesting player, but not at the top of my list because you can't know if he'd adapt in England. If you want to bring in someone who scores a lot in a low league , why not go for Celtic's Leigh Griffiths? About the same age with Dabbur, scored even more in less minutes in the past 2 years, is accustomed to Brittish football, you'd know what you're buying. Sure, he won't have the same numbers he has in Scotland, but would still score plenty. Celtic want just 5-6 million cause his contract is running out, but you'd have to move fast cause in talks to extend. On the other hand, Danbur has a long contract and would cost more than 10 million. And to me Griffiths is probsbly better too. Not a big difference between the Scottish and Austrian leagues. Griffiths is just as good as Moussa Dembele from Celtic, his competitor, but Dembele costs more than 20 million while you can get Griffiths for cheap.

How do you know you can get Griffiths for cheap?

Where does the idea that Celtic want to sell him come from? Where does the idea that his Contract is running out come from? He is under Contract until 2021, and the last time I checked, he was negotiating a new longer term deal.

But I believe he may be a bit of a bellend. Something you must take into consideration when looking at players

According to this, Celtic wanted 7 million for him in January but were offered only 5. He has the same contractual situation. Ok, maybe I didn't say well "his contract in running out", but still, the price is low.

Mattteo, I don't want to get into a mass debate with you on this, but I think that you need to be careful to stop rubbishing everything the club is trying to do, on the basis of your misinterpretation of misinformation masquerading as fact.

There is nothing that I have seen that says that Celtic want to sell Griffiths, and there is certainly nothing that I have seen that says that Celtic want to sell Griffiths for 5-6 million.

Griffith's Contract is not running out - any more than anyone else's - and there is time for him to sign a new deal.

I find many of your posts interesting, but I do find your disdain for the club's transfer dealings based on fantasy to be a bit tiresome.
