Seems a bit odd how we have to play our cup match 48 hours after the watford game and they get an extra days rest..? looks as though we wont be taking it too seriously then

Thinking of going on Tuesday, Swansea fans are finding you get games thick and fast in the championship 3 games in Think swans will want a run in the cup and will pick a strong team ....

Yeah agreed Nicky plus their team hasn't changed that much from when they were in the prem, add that to the home advantage and the fact we'll be playing most of our second team who'll be rusty AND we probably won't play Ayew, (but at least AWB) it adds up to similar circumstances to Bristol city last year

Don t know if you watched Swansea against Leeds the other night? Swansea were expected to get thrashed as they have had a massive clear out, fabianski,clucas,fernandez,abraham, andre ayew,mawson,ki sung young,sanchez,Jordan ayew All gone What Swansea have replaced them with is some young hungry players who played well the other night under potter and shocked even there own die hard fans and will be contenders for promotion if the Swansea board spends in january , if we play a week team Swansea will beat us for sure. Plan B of roy's needs to start against swansea. Bentekke isn't the answer... sorloth needs more game time, should have ben loaned out in all fairness.

My gf is a Swansea supporter and says you all need to pay more attention to the Championship! Swansea fans have imploded over the last 24 hours! They got rid of about 14 players over the summer and they will definatly NOT be strengthened over the summer. Joe Rodon and Connor Roberts are both proper good though! Their 2nd choice striker stuggled to get games in their youth team, they have just found out the club is near broke and that their chairman is taking 600k per month out of the club even in the championship! Believe me, their place is going to be toxic when we play them...

I think this is an ideal game to play both Sorloth and Benteke up front that might sound mad but I think it would be a good for both players. Benteke confidence is down in front of goal with Sorlorth playing along side him. Benteke is going to have to think more and work harder about positioning reading the game better to finding his own space.

Roy likes the 442, so I think just changed the team a bit. He likes the front two of benteke and Zaha, keep town send and Luka, bring chuckie and meyer into play imo.
