One of the funniest things I saw was (in Hove as it happens) a seagull take a wrong turn having chomped on someone's cold chips from the terrace into the pub rather than away from it. The chaos and panic that ensued was marvellous, as a) a seagull is a big beast, especially in a confined space and b) the people screaming and hiding under their tables were probably self-proclaimed animal lovers who actually had no right to be as terrified as they were at seeing a wonder of nature close up. Loved to have been in that bar with the horse though.
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |
