Brighton's Lewis Dunk called up to the England Squad and yet no room for Tompkins????

100 percent Tomkins is playing better

[Link] Lewis dunk average performance rating in the Premier League is 6.28. Incredibly poor.

[Link] James Tomkins average is 6.98.

Obviously such ratings need to be taking with a ping of salt however I tend to trust the ratings when wan-bisakka consistently hits over 7.00 average.

Also looking at our defence we have conceded 9 on all season. Brighton have conceded 13.

Think there is a strong case here to suggest Tomkins can be found hard down by.

There may have been a case for him last season but apparently Dunk has been rubbish this season, even some Brighton fans are calling for him to be dropped.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Very funny. On a serious note though peformances haven't been great from Dunk. May be an age thing or sees him as a more suited defender to fit his style of play. May also say something about the depth of English centre backs. Refreshing that someone like Dunk and Tarkowski get calls ups over the big teams reserves such as smalling etc

i'd love to see the stats that get Welbeck called up
