Has been charged by police for sexual assault by touching after an incident on a train.

He needs to sort his life out. Best English footballer of his generation.

This is going to open up the debate on levels of offence.
if he pinched a birds arse then shes called the police instead of shouting
Oi get off you dirty f***er or slapped him ( as would have happened in my youth).
If hes proper groped her and got very physical.
Both the above are wrong but there is a difference in severity in my eyes anyway.
The full story wont be out for ages but if its the first one they may as well hand out straight jackets on the door of every club in the land.
If that sticks for a severe punishment then gawd help the male species.

She couldn’t believe her luck and her thoughts are firmly on selling her story to the papers.
Early reports suggest it’s just touching, which you would think falls in the mild offence category.

Times have changed since your (and my) youth

I have no doubt that the punishment will be consistent with the amount of touching that was involved

Fit up. The bint should be horsewhipped for wasting police time.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

my cousin had this happen on a train decades ago.
she felt a man pushing his groin into her bottom.
she turned 'round sharply and said in a loud voice
''YOU SCUM!''
fella said''i 'scum twice luv''

joking aside, it sounds from the report that he may have lterally just touched her person, not groped?
crazy.

It’s sad that people come out and judge a person after knowing so v v little about the case the people or the actual facts

Hey that’s humanity today righ?

All I can tell you is that in the 90’s I investigated an awful situ involving a football manager who was convicted of assaulting the very children he was trusted with.

Paul and the staff totally cared for one of the victims ( a spurs fan ) on a trip post court case that I arranged and attended the spurs training ground ...

Gary Mabutt ( legend ) and Paul were disgusted by the behaviour of the convicted individual and were so caring and kind to our victim during the training session and afterwards

Paul personally sent a letter of encouragement to the young lad to carry on with his career, which the young lad did.

Needless to say I have the upmost respect for Mr Gasgoigne and his mumanity

I also know he used to slip £10 notes surreptitiously into the trainees pockets so they could go out and have spare cash

That’s the guy I met then .....sadly his mental health has greatly suffered since

But I would do anything to help that Paul who has now found himself down on his luck

I hope justice is fair and that the matter is adequately and properly investigated

R.i.p dear staffie

Coyp
