One hates to be picky after such a glorious victory and performance, but surely, since he wasn't booked for simulation, that should have been a second penalty when their keeper brought down Ayew?

Yes, it should have been. Perhaps the ref wasn't convinced about the first penalty and was trying to even things up. As you say, mustn't be picky, but what an even more glorious score 4-2 would have been.

Townsend - never my favourite but he did play very well.
Brighton and West Ham lost and the bookies gave me 20-1 on a Palace win - Happy Christmas!!

What a team effort. I think I'm actually shaking I'm so happy Townsend really stood out today though. Aside from the goal he did a brilliant job of helping to keep Sane quiet. The commentary said City had an off day, but I think in fact tactically Hodgson outsmarted Pep. We almost beat them last time out and we did it this time.

Thank you Santa, you heard my wish

had a fiver on Palace win/draw+ Luka to score + both teams to score at 40/1. Anyone else enjoy that even more with some winnings?

One of the greatest league wins in our history imo.

Is there anything that epitomises being a Palace fan quite like what we just witnessed.

Less than a month ago. 3-0 down to our fiercest rivals at half time, who are down to 10 men.

To this.

Being a Palace fan is complete and utter bats***. And it just gets madder by the season.

Wow.

I dunno whether to go for a lie down or a run.

We're the Arthur over ere!
