 just started reading vince hillaire book,he mentioned bobby moore coaching him at palace,anybody throw any light on the subject

 Possibly just before Bobby went to manage Oxford City in 1980?

 Not sure how Bobby came to be at Palace but I remember he was a coach here in the early 80's. Maybe Malcolm Allison brought him in during his brief second spell with us. Bobby ended up at Southend where he was manager for a season and moved onto the board. He never found the same level of success in management and before he died he was working for Capital Gold as a co commentator with Jonathon Pearce.

Moore was succeeded at Southend by Ex-Chelsea player David Webb who had 4 spells as manager at that club.
