people are born Left-handed. They are different and are always in a minority. To persecute them for it is an abomination. To force them to hold a biro in their right hand is obnoxious. It defies who they are and how they were wired. They did not choose to be different. This is not a lifestyle choice - it is biology. They exist in every society on the planet and in all of history.

It's not my fault, but the persecution I suffer is horrendous. For example, when I dress in padded leather and walk like a crab into Costa and ask people to sit on me I get arrested and called a pervert and all sorts. I stand United with my zizters and bzothers in the LGBTQSJXDXCHAIRFUKA community. No form of joking about anything is funny.

Well, obviously. Don't think there's much to add there, but on a semi-related point, all the gay people I know are actually incredibly relaxed and comfortable with gay jokes / banter (as long as its well intentioned) and hate nothing more than being treated as vulnerable, sensitive souls to be pussy footed around.
