I had a contretemps last night with some temulent Brighton supporters who had been to the Millwall match.Scurvy pieces of work and limited clunkers.

So much of football is pure schadenfreude. There’s almost more pleasure in seeing some teams lose than in seeing your own win. Just as well because we don’t win many.

My irritation if Brighton were to win is that we blew our chance of winning the cup by not wrapping up our league safety when we should have.

When city challenge the top 6 I want city to win as much as possible. They’re an inoffensive club to me so it’s as if it’s never happened again, unlike Chelsea, Man U or hopefully not Liverpool.
