There has obviously been a massive falling-out regarding Max Meyer. Subbed at half-time in last home game and an unused sub in the week. Today he does not even make the first 18. If he's reported injured somewhere I have not seen it is almost certainly fake news.

Would have had kouyate over shluuup today. If we we are playing a 442 surely benteke and batman up top, Zaha luka kouyate and Townsend would be a much stronger line up?

same old same old again. Schlupp, McArthur and Batshuayi don't deserve to be starting and theirs no excuse we have players who can swap in for them. If we don't get a win today that is enough for me Roy has to 100% go at end of the season. Regarding Max he must be ill or personal matter can't understand why he wouldn't even be on the bench (I don't think Roy likes him anyway) Is Wickham and Sako injured again? Riedwald can't even make the bench ahead of youngster who is never going to get any game time anyway so wasted spot. (Roy and his favorites) Edited by grumpymort (06 Apr 2019 2.19pm)

We have the option of long ball if benteke is there. Benteke needs games to improve form or maximize sale price. So we start bats. Classic Hodgson.
