About the new singing section for 19/20

True that/ When I was a nipper growing up in Selhurst Rd (just by S.Norwood library) before my Dad took me to my first match you could hear the crowd quite clearly, When Palace scored the noise was deafening. Singing section my arse!!

Same answer to this. It was all standing then so singers could congregate together. Now the ground relies on the singers asxit always has. No singers, no atmosphere. It needs more singers as its currently dying, not helped with Roys football.

They didn't have singing sections in those days so it's wrong to say the ground has always had them. I had a season ticket in the Arthur for many years and no-one sang but there was plenty of atmosphere.
