the broad-based acceptance of Americana by the meeja and public.

It shouldn't pl55 me off, because as Midlands said, language is fluid. English Language has a lot of French influence, such as 'per capita' or 'precentage'.
It just f-cks me off that the English invented modern N. America and are now being dominated by it.
