Just seen this on SSN. Never heard of him... Crystal Palace and Aston Villa are considering moves for RB Leipzig striker Jean-Kevin Augustin. Ligue 1 rivals Nice and Monaco are also understood to be keen on the 22-year old striker, who moved to the Red Bull Arena in 2017 on a five-year deal. It’s understood Leipzig are willing to sell but would be looking to recoup the £15m they paid PSG for the striker.

Was a highly rated prospect a few years back, but he only started 4 games last season while coming off the bench 13 times, so has clearly gone off the boil.

Looks quite a player though, strong, direct and skilful, quite young so can only get better? I am tempted to say any striker will do at this stage!

Didn't know he was available for 15 million. Similar player to Maupay, able to play on the wing at times, not too tall for a cebter forward. A little better than Maupau in my opinion. Considering Brentford and usual English price for Maupay is 20 million, Augustin is the better choice

I am super excited about this. I signed him on Football Manager - won the league with him and he won PFA Player of the year having scored 36 goals. Linked up incredibly well with Andros Townsend and Ryan Sessegnon.
