Oh dear. Watch out for the spelling police, they are going to have a field day.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

The lack of composure shown by Benteke and Zaha in the last minute of the game today was clearly very costly. 60 seconds to go - and they fluff their lines. McArthur's experience, maturity and level-headedness is sorely lacking when he is not on the pitch - particularly exposed today by those left on the pitch to not being able to close out the game. Just keep it simple and head for the opposition corner flag !

Don't think that substitution would have happened if he was fully fit.

He did look shot though at the end and sub McCarthy shouldn't have made that much difference to our shape in the final few minutes .

Jimmy Mac puts so much in that he is usually knackered for the last 10 or so minutes so is often subbed. His being on the pitch yesterday would not have meant Zaha retaining possession or Ward not making a hash of a clearance.

Jimmy Mac is the linchpin and is sorely missed when not there. Especially whilst Luka is looking jaded...

Don't agree had Roy done a proper change and tactic switch would of been different game but no still sticks with same old every time. Zaha screw up at the end and Ward poor defending did cost us in theory but still blame Roy for this again.

When the thread started McArthur's name was spelt wrong in the title.
