They did field an inelegible player.
Fined 200k
100k suspended.
Do you think Watford us or west Brom would still be in the competition.
Maybe a lesser team now has a prescident.
Field messi in the semi.
Get to the final and pay a fine
also on the team sheet for a PL game.
The FA should have grown a pair and done the right thing.
MK Don's should feel very aggrieved.

Really!? Would you want to go through undeservedly due to a technicality?

Sunderland fielded an ineligible player for 5 games a couple of years ago and still only got a fine... so there was already a precedent, and no big club conspiracy.

We had a point docked years ago for turning out Rui Fonte when he wasn’t registered.

Sunderland fielded an ineligible player for 5 games a couple of years ago and still only got a fine... so there was already a precedent, and no big club conspiracy.

Sunderland was in the league therefore under PL jurisdiction.
Scousers did it in the league cup under the FA.
Precedent was set a few years ago in this competition when West Ham had to replay a match after committing the same offence.
Out of the 3 possible outcomes they have had the punishment that least affects them.
Klopp was apparently bricking it they would have to replay it due to fixture congestion.

It's going to be unbearable if the dippers finally do it I've turned the match off now such is my dislike of them city need a miracle

The only positive is we could still be the first team to take 3 points of the verminous bindippers
