I recall the days when 'Sido' used to sell programmes at Bromley FC.

What would happen with Bromley's pitch if they went up? Anybody know.

(Surely they'll fall away, but a nice dream)

My understanding is that with plastic pitches not allowed in the EFL, clubs with such pitches would have to rip them up or face relegation.

So clubs spend all that money on 3G/4G, become community based and raise revenue for themselves and could find that they rip up their pitch after promotion, only to find that they get relegated after a single season.

I believe not only wouldn’t they be allowed up if they kept their artificial pitch, they would be further relegated to the national league south.

Way over the top from the football laeague.
Champions league matches are allowed to be played on 4g pitches , but if a small club in this country gets promoted to th FL with one they will get ruined by the governing body.
