Great programme to see. Having lived less then 2 miles from Selhurst Park until aged 12 brought back good memories, good to see Sansom, Hilaire even if older lol

Very enjoyable programme which brought back lots of good memories.
Credit to the programme makers who put it together and also the soundtrack of songs that accompanied the footage.
Wonder what has happened to Jerry Murphy and Billy Gilbert?

Came straight in from work and watched it, absolutely superb, great memories, my palace supporting years will never get any better than that 76 through to 1980 period, as big Dave Swindles said, if ever he feels a bit down, he just thinks of those times, happy days

Thanks for the link - that would bring a tear to a glass eye. Fabulous time to be a Palace supporter, talent in every position, most of whom came throught the ranks. A great trip down memory lane. Some of those crowds - jeez.

ditto, wondrous, all of them were great but I got a soft spot for Swindlehurst watching that 'all mi bruvvers' fist against his heart, and Ian Evans as well, but absolutely brilliant.

Great to see the footage of Kenny.

Would even today walk into any team in the land. Utterly incredible player. Best defender we have ever had and possibly the best player.

Anyone know what happened to Big Mal’s fedora? Was it auctioned for charity?

What are Jim Cannon and Dave Sw’hurst doing now?

They’re not senior citizens yet, are they?

Vince Hilaire was terrific. Is he a pundit? If not, he’d be great on the telly.

Bill Nighy was slightly flat as a celebrity narrator. I’d have preferred Roy Hudd who would have been more effervescent.

Steve Parish was in good form.

Perhaps we’ll be the team of the 2020s.

I wonder if Benteke will bang his chest and say that in 40 years time..

Makes you feel privileged to have been a fan then.
