Last season Hasenhuttl took over with Southampton in 18th place after 15 games and he managed to secure their survival with the team finishing 16th. At prwsent they are in the relegation zone with no wins after 5 home games.Lost at home to local rivals Bournemouth 3-1,convincing 4-1 defeat to Chelsea and last night's 9-0 debacle in a stadium with a plethora of empty seats. Struggling in the league,fans on his back for weeks, 9-0 home defeat, rows of empty seats, I wouldn't be surprised if Hasenhuttl is on his way soon. Edited by Willo (26 Oct 2019 9.00am)

Better now for Saints and there is a long season ahead. My favourite for short-termism re: managers must be reserved for Mark Hughes. Arriving at Stoke City for the first time to take up his new appointment, he was greeted by supporters waving a banner 'Hughes out' !!!!
