Earliest starting careers

I was trying to think of the sportsman I’ve seen whose career started the earliest. Best I’ve come up with is Fred Davis whose snooker career started in 1929. Of more active sports Les Kellet started pro wrestling in 1938.
Any earlier examples?

Just going on the thread title I'd say milkman or dustman were in with a shout.

but the '3 to 6 kilo' babies will start their career before the '7 to 9 kilo' ones.

Milkman maybe, definitely not t'b****** binman round are way.

Lazy gits ain't even bin by the time I've got back from signing on.
