Just Tweeted this but have to say, incredible job being done by Roy. I'll freely admit to having criticised him plenty over the last couple of seasons for some turgid performances but given the restrictions he's been given, the fact that we are temporarily fifth after 14 games and above Spurs, Arsenal and United is ridiculous. Huge credit to Jordan Ayew as well. Have never changed my mind about a player so much. He absolutely works his bollocks off and is the heart of the team at the moment. It's even more of a miracle when you consider only two teams in the division have scored less goals than us. How does Roy do it?

Love it. The team took that huge challenge on one minute of leg sapping graft at a time. That's the only way, and it's a great advert for what Roy has given us. That massive performance won't register to anyone unrelated to palace. Even on a night when only two games took place the spotlight won't settle on us in any major way. Good. Nights like tonight aren't for sharing with neutrals. Finally, thank God we picked up the lion hearted Ayew for next to nothing instead of sending a fortune on Solanke.

Ref very quick to get the card out and the same w***er was diving all over the pitch all night , but was prob a red over knee high with studs up , hate to say it but prob was a red . agree with man of the match !
