the last i heard there were 4 clubs in for him (inc us) so his agent is doing his job..... time to move on, it was nice whilst it lasted!!! Is there a really obvious reason that I'm missing as to why we aren't in for Danny Rose? I understand that his fee may well be extortionate for a 29 Yr old but once again it frustrates me that f***ing Bournemouth are being linked with him...

I understand that his fee may well be extortionate for a 29 Yr old but once again it frustrates me that f***ing Bournemouth are being linked with him...

Ramsey was a free.
So no fee and enhanced wages from the club which was still cheaper than buying that type of quality.
Similar to rose position I think.

He's 29 and we have Reiderwald, Van Aanholt, and Schlupp who can play left back. Also haven't we just brought in a yound left sided player from Scotland? We're trying to bring down the average age of the squad and think more long term, yet as soon as any player becomes available you're all screaming we should bring them in. Surely our aim should be to trim wages, especially on older players who aren't regular i.e. Sakho, Benteke, and bring in younger replacements.
