Indeed. A truly amazing drummer and lyricist. Rush have been my favourite band since the early ‘80s when my brother continuously played Signals and Grace Under Pressure and have loved all their albums from Rush though to Clockwork Angels. Moving Pictures to me remains their classic with Neil at his busiest and Red Barchetta my all time favourite song, Was lucky enough to see them many times including at the Staples Centre in LA on their “comeback” tour following the tragic personal issues in Neils life. I don’t think there was another band where you’d have 10,000 air drummers in the audience. One of the true greats... a sad day!

The first Rush album is Zepplinesque and one of my favourites of their's but does not feature Peart. He helped bring a more complex style to the band which produced classic rock albums like 2121, Moving pictures and Permanent Waves along with other great tracks like 'Bastille Day' and 'Anthem.'
Grace Under Pressure is my favourite of their 'later' albums although 'Time Stands Still' is a great song off of 'Hold Your Fire'.

Rush never really became commercial enough to be a big singles band but have a massive following of loyal fans many of whom probably still live in their mum's basement.

The last bit was a joke.
