I am sure Håland's team had a plan for him which involved exposure to European Competitions etc and would not have included coming to a Palace or similar middle to low end Premiership side. Also, aren't the RB teams heavily involved with certain agents? Wasn't our choice at the time between Sørloth and Hugill? A fairly uninspiring pair.

We were the club interested in that Northern market (especially because Roy coached there before). There were 2 Norwegians who looked top level-promising (Haaland more than Sorloth, cause he was even better at an earlier age). We got 1 of them. Sorloth. This was the transfer depaetment's decision. We were really close to Haaland.

We were really close to Haaland. With all due respect how do you know other clubs weren't interested? Graham Potter managed in Scandinavia,how do we know he is not interested in taht market? As a previous poster stated, there are always deals being done between certain agents and certain clubs. Unfortunately no HOL poster knows what goes on behind the scenes.

Spiderman, interested maybe they were, but we are the only one who paid 8 million for a Norwegian forward of young age, which is exactly what Haaland cost.
